RUNNING WILD: Leesburg senior Oran Singleton ran for a 72-yard TD on his last carry of a 42-0 win
over Wildwood to go over 2,000 yards for the season. Singleton had 210 yards on 25 carries for the
game, and has 2,026 yards and 24 TDs this season, 4,773 yards and 59 TDs for his career.
Meanwhile, St.. Cloud senior
Eric Butler ran for 195 yards and two TDs on 26 carries in a 13-10 win
over Kissimmee Osceola, giving him 2,053 yards for the season and 4,911 for his career. Both
Singleton and Butler have playoff games remaining...

Crescent City's 242-pound
Clarence "Pooh-Bear" Williams ran for 236 yards and five TDs in his
career finale to become Florida's sixth 5,000-yard runner. He totaled 4,054 yards and 69 TDs. Quietly,
Palatka junior
Lee Johnson broke a school regular season rushing record with his 1,190-yard total this
season. The former record holder? None other than
John L. Williams.
