Randy Trivers, who built a Leesburg football program that has had four consecutive winning seasons,
resigned Friday after accepting the head coaching position at Gonzaga College High School in
Washington, D.C.

Rich Maresco, hired as Leesburg's wide receivers coach two months ago, will replace Trivers.

"It has been four great years," Leesburg Principal Bill Miller said. "We are sad to see him go, but happy
for the opportunity that he has. He is going to a good school in the D.C. area, which is where he is
from."
