Eustis Fast Outfit But Locals Are Made The Favorites

Coach Banning will have his swarm of Yellowjackets in Tavares today to furnish one of the
features of the Armistice day program that promises to draw people from the limits of the
county. The Stingers will meet the Queen City team as the final in a doubleheader football
event scheduled for 2 o'clock. Tavares plays Winter Park in the opener, and some first class
football is promised.

Winter Park defeated the light but aggressive Tavares aggregation in an early season game
but the county cat lads although handicapped through injuries to a few of its stars are out to
even up the defeat. John L. Pike, Jr., who has made spectacular runs throughout the season,
is expected to be the principal threat of the Tavares team.

Yellowjackets leave in a somewhat crippled condition, but Banning expects that his regulars
will start the game even though not in the best of condition. Dick Williams is expected to start
at center although still carrying the offense of the Plant City game. Captain Ling has been on
the sick list but will start at his regular end position, and Jimmy Roundtree is nursing a
sprained shoulder that has given him trouble throughout the season. He has also suffered a
sprained hand during the week scrimmages.

Leesburg is doped to win, but if Eustis plays up to form a real fight will be the result.
Considerable spirit has been shown in both schools and Eustis with everything to win and
nothing to lose has gone through intensive practice to meet the strong offense of the 'Jackets.
