Third Quarter

Leesburg had outplayed their opponents up to this stage of the game although the breaks and
penalties were decidedly against them.

Leesburg received the ball and it was returned by Ling to Leesburg's 41-yard line on the kickoff as the
half started. Ling bumped, time out. Leesburg failed to make yards and on the next play Moore made
one of the best tackles of the game, breaking through and tackling Ashmore for a loss. Gainesville
made yards on the next play, and Jenkins was hurt. Time out for Leesburg. Long fumbled on the next
play and it was Leesburg's ball on their 35-yard line.

Leesburg kicked and it was Gainesville's ball on Leesburg's 40-yard line. Quarter ended.
