The remainder of the game was featured by an aerial attack by the Gainesville team which came within
a hair scoring, Long to Ashmore making a 30-yard gain, and the whistle blew with the ball on
Leesburg's 10-yard line.

To summarize the game it seems that the Yellowjackets lost their fight after failure to score in the
second quarter. The Gainesville team out-kicked, out-tackled, and out-played the Leesburg team in the
last half. Punch in the Leesburg team seemed spasmodie and was lacking at crucial moments. The
game was hard fought but cleanly played and well officiated. Long was individual star for the victors,
and Cahill did the best work for Leesburg.
