Rotary Camp, Eaton's Beach, Sept. 3 - Despite the warm weather, Leesburg Yellowjackets fell and
tumbled and tossed and kicked all through the day in their efforts to get the pigskin under control.
Coach Banning took the men through the whole list of tricks today and for the first time individuals
began to show their superiority.

Capt. Ling was on his toes all day offering himself as a willing substitute for a tackling dummy and an
example for the rest of the candidates.

Joe Jenkins who played in the backfield last season for the first time, shows unusual improvement in
form. His added weight this year plus the experience of last year and his willingness to learn is going
to make someone hustle to hold a regular berth behind the line.

Carl Baldwin, a newcomer to Leesburg this year, and captain of Loavitsburg, Ohio, championship
team of that season, sure knows his stuff. His experience and strength shows up in every test.

Eddie Cahill who won the admiration of every follower of last year's basketball team is going to do the
same thing in football this year by his plugging style of play. In fact with nine out of the 11 regulars of
last season back on the job, this year's team is going to be a hard nut to crack.

Coach Banning only has two vacancies to fill, that of quarter and one tackle position.
