Fleming Field At University Selected Place

Captain Yon Donates His Field, And Will Aid In Arrangements

Leesburg Yellowjackets will meet Andrew Jackson on Fleming Field, Gainesville instead of at
Jacksonville, was the decision arrived at by a conference of the representatives of the two
schools yesterday in Gainesville. Coach Dickson met Coach Banning, together with officials of
the University of Florida, and by agreement arranged for the use of Fleming field without cost to
either of the teams.

Capt. Yon director of athletics at the university, stated that his school was more than glad to offer
the privileges the field to the two schools and to assist in every way possible for the
accommodations of spectators and in making arrangements to the satisfaction of both schools.

A list of possible officials was submitted to the two coaches and the following men were agreed
upon subject to their official acceptance:
