Leesburg Team In Better Shape Than For Some of Games This Fall, With Men
Confident They Will be Returned Winners Today

LEESBURG - Yellow jackets freed from classes today assemble at Mac's at 9 o'clock to travel by bus
to
Kissimmee. Coach Banning is taking a squad of 18 men and stated that the early start was a
necessity, giving the team on its arrival there time to loosen up cramped muscles and become
generally acclimated. The squad has completed the week's practice and came out of last Friday's
game unscathed and Coach Banning says that his men leave in better condition than for any
previous game of the season. With the exception of
Dick Williams, start center, who injured in the
Plant City game and whose recovery before the season ends is uncertain, Leesburg's warriors will
enter the game with full strength.
Red Smith has been doing well at the pivot position and has plenty
of weight to throw into the fray.

The same seven and four that started the
Tarpon Springs game will probably start today's game, the
odds from what little dope is available seems to be with the locals, but Kissimmee, as always, has
a hard hitting, well-coached team.
