Secretary Cassel In Favor Of Such Meeting Stated

Executive Committee of F. H. S. A. A. Yet to Announce Date

The Leesburg outfit has played no very representative team, but if the Yellowjackets want a game
and if it can be arranged, it would stop a lot of quibbling if the request were gratified. We admit we
have no great fear as to the outcome, but one never can tell overconfidence cannot be tolerated.

Trib's Hopes
Tampa Tribune believe yet that the Terriers should be awarded a chance at the title, even if
defeated by Lakeland, Says Lawton Carver, sport writer;

With just two more games on their schedule the Hillsborough high school Terriers will begin
training this week for the close of the 1927 football season. There is a slight chance, however, of
the Terriers getting an additional game of substituting an all, important game for one already on
the slate, the same being Andrew Jackson high of Jacksonville, right now, leading by a fairly safe
margin in the state football championship race.

Secretary Cassels, of the Florida High School Athletic association, which makes the annual
award of the championship, slated yesterday that all of the schools in the association and
holding out hopes for a crack at the title have been advised to forward their records for the
season to his office for a check, after which there will be either some postseason skirmishes or
a champion will be announced right off the bat.
