LEESBURG - Banning's Yellowjackets, with state championship claims held jointly with Andrew
Jackson high school of Jacksonville, will today complete practice for the last scheduled game of the
season.
Banning has been drilling his men behind closed doors at Cooke Park in preparation for
the "Turkey" day game. New plays and scrimmage against the Babyjackets which were coached in
Sanford play, and formations have featured the workouts.

Adams, Cahill, Jenkins, and Brown, who are all due for consideration when all-state honors are to
meted out, are in tiptop form and displaying football ability creditable to schools of higher education.

Jimmie Adams, who runs, kicks and passes equally well, and Eddie Cahill who has displayed
some of the prettiest open field running seen in many a day, and who is a consistent punter and
blocker are both in line for a position on the mythical eleven.

Jenkins, the typical fullback, undoubtedly will cause wide comment of approval wherever seen.
Jenkins is big, strong, and seldom has been stopped and has plenty of speed. Brown who does
double duty at quarter and end, switching with
Captain Ling, plays a steady sure game and is a safe
bet on the receiving end of passes........
