Leesburg came back in the second quarter and with McInnis as the principal scored after a nice
run around left end. The point after touchdown was a successful pass from Smith to Hunt, which
was fluky to say the least. Hunt catching the ball after it had been juggled by at least three players
of both teams. His catch was the deciding point of the game.

Leesburg kicked at the half and it was Tavares' ball on their 28 yard line. Tavares fumbled and
Hunt recovered and it was Leesburg's ball on Tavares' 28 yard line. Leesburg fumbled and
recovered on the next play for a loss and on next play were again tackled for a loss. Tavares' ball.
Tavares was out-fighting the locals at this stage of the game. Pike was on the receiving end of a
pass and seemed off on another jaunt across the goal but was stopped after a 30 yard run. Pike
was hurt in the next play and taken out. Fourth quarter, Leesburg started by intercepting a pass,
but in the plays that followed failed to gain. Duncan of Tavares took the ball for nine-yards
through the Leesburg line and on the next play made downs. The Leesburg line stiffened
defense and took the ball on  downs. McInnis made a nice run stiff-arming his way for 15 yards
on the next play, and was tackled hard by York. Play ended with ball in the middle of the playing
field. The last quarter was featured by a passing attack by both teams each trying hard to score.
