The following men received the awards:

Capt. Brown, Ashton Gray, Eddie Cahill, Joe Jenkins, Jim Roundtree, Marvin Entz, Brodas Milam, Willis
Moore, Jimmie Adams, Ralph Polk, Dick Williams, Kenyon Merwin, Kenneth Smith and Clarence Ling.

W. B. Treloar, supervisor of schools, paid the boys a very fine compliment, commending them not only
for their actions on the football field but also for their splendid cooperation in the life of the school.

Clarence Laye spoke for the county school board, and Drennan Brown thanked the men for the
wonderful effort made under his leadership.

They boys then donned their new sweaters and procedded to elect a captain for the coming season.
Clarence Ling was elected unanimously to the position, and 1 of 2.
