The Leesburg Morning Commercial

Herewith the Leesburg Morning Commercial offers its annual All-Florida prep school football
selections, first and second teams. If it appears that the honorary teams are top-heavy with Leesburg
players, let it be remembered that a lack of line material has been bewailed over the state, and the
impressive show of strength the Leesburg Stingers made Friday, holding the powerful Andrew
Jackson team to a total of two yards through the line in the first half, convinces the writer beyond a
question of a doubt that the hardest charging line in the state is assembled under the tutelage of
Coach Frank Banning.

After witnessing yesterday's game the writer made several changes in a tentatively drawn up mythical
selection. Frink of Miami, was taken off the first team at end and Cherry of Leesburg substituted, a fit
running mate for Crenshaw at the other end.

The splendid work of Perkins, Andrew Jackson wingman, me ited him a position on the second team.
Smith, Leesburg pivot man, also earned aright for honorable mention Friday, he unquestionably.
"coming through" in the big effort.
