To the State-at_Large: The Leesburg Yellow Jackets of Leesburg all Leesburgers, averaging 171
pounds, average 17 years, with Cahill, All-Southern, and Jenkins All-Southern in spirit, defeated
Andrew Jackson's "Big Red Team," by a score of 13 to 6 yesterday on Cooke field, and here and
now the championship in prep school football in Florida is claimed. The claim is valid.

Joe Jenkins made the two touchdowns; Cahill was seen in some blood-stirring plays, and the rest of
the great team played football, too.

Coach Ray Dickson brought thirty big players to Leesburg to take the game, his best was not good
enough, although
Andrew Jackson team is superior to any team in the state excepting the Leesburg
Yellow Jackets, and is the second team in the state so good as to score against the Leesburg squads:
Palatka did it first. Jacksonville's team did yesterday with a long pass and a tall, fast boy who made a
perfect catch and outran tacklers. Leesburg used no substitutes: Andy Jax used several.
