"Few times in a generation do towns of Leesburg's size produces so strong an aggregation; Not only
am I impressed by their power but by the clean, high quality sportsmanship which characterizes their
play."

Eight Leesburg Yellow Jackets played their last game together and with three other stars who give
promise of scintillating across the gridiron horizon next season, ended the present season with a
record of nine straight wins and a total score of 352 points to their opponent's 12.

The immortal Joe Jenkins, "Locomotive Joe," said some but in all the greatest plunger of all time in
high school football, carried the burden of the great Jackets offensive and never whimpered. Cahill and
Adams, halves of heroic stature, ever trying their utmost, Cahill All-Southern and Adams with a full high
school career yet to come. Quarterback Ling was superb, game and a field general.
