Jenkins for five yards through center and Adams for two yards off tackle and on the next play Jenkins
made first down to the visitors 12-yard line. Adams was thrown for a 10-yard loss on an attempted end
run by Crenshaw. A pass from Adams to Cherry was knocked down but on the next try Rountree
speared the oval and was downed on the three-yard line. First down Leesburg and goal to go.

Leesburg penalized on the next play, offside. Second down and eight yards and goal to go. Jenkins
through center traveled six yards. Jenkins was stopped dead on the next play but went over in a dog
pile for the first touchdown that followed. A beautiful pass from Adams to Cherry was
completed for the extra point. Seven minutes and 56 seconds of play. Score, 7 to 0.

Adams of Leesburg, kicked off to Adams of Jackson, the latter returning the ball 17 yards from the
20-yard line. Wolfson tore off two yards off tackle. Two passes from Wolfson to Crenshaw and Perkins
were knocked down and Jackson was penalize. Crenshaw kicked deep into Leesburg territory, the ball
rolling to the local 10-yard line. Jenkins made nine yards through center. Ling made it first down with a
two and one-half yard sally. Adams traveled three yards on off-tackle slash. Jackson took time out.
Cahill went three yards to his 30-yard line. Jenkins went eight yards for first down. Leesburg was
penalized on the next play when Umpire Buchanan judged the Jacket backfield in motion. Cahill had
made a 15 yard sally but was called back as the quarter ended. Score, 7 to 0.
