Second Quarter
AS the second quarter began Leesburg put the ball in play on Leesburg's 32-yard line with third down
and 14 yards to go. Rountree then flashed around left end for 12 yards. Jenkins made it first down with
a nine-yard plunge. Lockett was substituted for Adams in the Jax lineup. Cahill then plunged seven
yards off tackle. Jenkins again tore off 11 yards and made it first down. Cahill crashed through for three
yards and Jenkins made it first down. Leesburg penalized five yards for backfield in motion. A pass
from Adam to Cherry was completed for the first down. Rountree six yards around left, Cahill a yard
around right end. Jenkins for nine yards to the one-yard line. Jenkins through for second touchdown.
Pass from Adams to Cherry was knocked down. Score, 13 to 0.

Brownette, regular quarter of the Jackson team, was put in the game at this juncture, Burr going out.
Leesburg kicked off to Jax, Brownette receiving and returning the ball nine yards from the 11-yard line.
Davis was substituted for L. Wolfson for Jackson. A pass from Brownette to Perkins was knocked
down. Bryson went in for Schumack, Jax. Another pass was incomplete and Brownette called
Crenshaw back to punt. Crenshaw was forced and kicked but 10 yards offside and Leesburg's ball on
the Jax 30 -yard line.

Jenkins was stopped with a yard gain. Cahill traveled six yards to the 23 -yard line. Jenkins made a
four-yard gain but Leesburg was called offside and penalized five yards. Scheumer was substituted for
Brennan for Jax.
