Scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter and having a third called back gave the L.H.S. Yellow Jackets
J.V. team a 34-6 victory in their opener against Wildwood this week. Cylean Carrol broke away for 55
yards and a touchdown only to fumble on the two yard line. Minutes later Eddie Parker hard running
fullback scored from two yards out, Bell passed to King for the extra point. After kicking the Jackets
regained control of the ball and Don Cunningham carried to the 4 yard line where Bell scored from two
yards out, Bell passed to King for the extra point. After kicking the Jackets regained control of the ball and
Don Cunningham carried to the 4 yard line where Bell scored from. After receiving the ball in the second
quarter the Wildwood team was forced to kick after losing the first down by several yards. The Yellow
Jackets took the ball on the forty five and Cunningham's pass to Bell was good for 20 yards, Carrol carried
to the 18, Cunningham to the 7 and Parker went to pay dirt from there. At the half the score stood 20-0.





















Early in the third quarter Wildwood opened up a 80 yard pass play that gave Wildwood their only score.
Midway in the third quarter Quarterback Ronald Bell skirted his right end for 43 yards and six points. Bell's
kick for the extra point was good and the Jackets lead 27-6.

Late in the fourth quarter the powerful Jacket offense began to click and the Leesburg squad scored
again with Carrol carrying the last 12 yards.
