By "DES"
The Daily Commercial
Friday, September 13, 1957

Annual banquet of the Leesburg High School Dad's Club is scheduled tonight at 7 o'clock in the
Community Building.

Jimmy Kynes, of Ocala, assistant state attorney and former University of Florida football star, will be the
guest speaker.

The banquet is the highlight of the season for the club, which sponsors may projects for young people of
Leesburg. The club in recent years has provided new bleachers at Memorial Stadium, rest room facilities
on the field, paid expenses of the swimming team and footed the bill for a number of other projects and
events.
