Steve madden led the honored Jackets as he was named first-team quarterback along with St. Cloud's
standout passer,
Brian Hendren. Madden, a senior threw for 526 yards and six touchdowns this year.
He also rushed for 599 yards and seven touchdowns.

John McGlohorn, Madden's favorite receive, was also named to the first team. The junior caught 22
passes for 359 yards and five touchdowns. McGlohorn even threw a touchdown pass in an upset over
St. Cloud.

Offensive linemen Jay Connell and Glenn Burley, a 6-3, 220-pound junior, was the team's center.

Defensively,
linebacker Fred Allen earned first team honors. The senior anchored the Jackets' defense
at inside linebacker.
