Jackets lose sectional to Seabreeze

While Leesburg's offense had to make due without the sixth-leading rusher in state history,  the
Jackets's defense faced a similar nightmare in the
run-and-shoot offense directed by junior
quarterback Rone. Using nimble feet and a throwing motion that resembled a
submarine baseball
pitcher, Rone abused the Jackets' proud defense, completing 10-of 13 passes for 179 yards.

Leesburg's streak of 18 consecutive scoreless quarters ended with Rone's 21 yard touchdown pass
to
A. J. McNerney on the Sandcrabs' first possession.  The Jackets had previously allowed just 47
points in 11 games.

"I've never seen anybody in high school do what he did,"
Leesburg defensive coordinator George Fuller
said of Rone.....
