The beanpole quareteback proved most dangerous when he seemed to be in trouble. After Leesburg
had cut the lead to 12-10 on Brian Rausch's 40-yard field goal in the third quarter, Seabreeze faced a
third-and-18 situation from its 43. Leesburg pressured Rone out of the pocket toward the right
sideline, but he flung a side-armed pass on the run to Jarrett Laws, who had gotten behind
Leesburg's D.J. Keith.

Laws Hauled in the pass at the Jackets 15 and raced into the end zone for the score and an 18-10
lead. Though Leesburg still h ad a chance of tying it ended when the speedy Hill turned an inside
reverse into an 18-yard touchdown run with 4:09 remaining.

"We knew he was going to be a great quarterback," Lawrence said of Rone."
