LEESBURG - During his lunch break Friday afternoon, Leesburg's Oran Singleton twisted his right
ankle jogging from the field house to the cafeteria. Friday night he showed that, like
Deion Sanders, he
can run faster with a limp than most people can without one.

Singleton surpassed the 4,000-yard career rushing mark twice - the second time it actually counted -
as the Yellow Jackets overwhelmed
Lake Weir 48-14 for their fourth straight football victory. At the end
of the first half, Singleton stood near midfield with a brace on his ankle and the game ball in his arms.

Playing sparingly after the impromptus halftime ceremony, Singleton totaled
225 yards on 15 carries,
giving him 1,354 yards for the season and 4.101 for his career. He also scored three touchdowns,
giving him 16 for the season and 51 for his career.     1   of   2
