The Jacket Defense held Jeremiah Sams to under 50 yards rushing. Sams came into the game as the
leading rusher for Lake and Sumter counties.

Austin Walker - has done a outstanding job punting the football this season. He replaced R.J. Peppers
who graduated and is now punting for Towson University. He answered all of the preseason questions
about who was going to replace Peppers great kicking last season. Walker kept Tavares and Eustis in
bad field position in both games. Walker also is a up and coming player on the Leesburg Defense. He
had several tackles Friday night and a interception late in the game.

Emanuel Nelson - had his second straight 100 yard game Friday night he is on pace to become
Leesburg's first 1000 yard rusher in the Randy Trivers era.

The Playing surface at Leesburg Memorial Field at Hubert O. Dabney Stadium is one of the best in the
state of Florida. The field was built with a large crown in the middle of the field and drains very well. The
players had almost no problem with footing against Eustis after a one hour and twenty minute rain
delay. Kudos to the maintenance crew at Leesburg High School.
