The line on a whole played well holding on the defense and opening up on the offense, though greatly
outweighed
Roundtree, who is supposed to be out for end, did not show up for Saturday's game. He is
capable of playing a good game when he plays but somehow or other he seems to lack the spirit
which should dominate in school life.

Captain Brown made some good gains on end runs and gave several flashes of his ability in open
field running but too much responsibility seems to weigh heavily on Brown and interferes with his
usual good game.
Gray seems to be fully qualified to call signals and in his capacity as quarter could
carry the added burden easily but then Banning is an usually good coach and the defects of his team
are apparent now and will be corrected before the game with
Sanford, next Saturday.

West and
Hope played unusually good football on the alumni while the whole team showed well under
the adverse conditions of never having played together before, these two stood out above everybody
else. Fahs at fullback showed old-time form several times in his plunges through the line and Butler at
quarter handled his team with effectiveness.
