Leesburg featured weekend play in the northeast conference by walloping DeLand, 48-0, to gain its third
loop victory of the season says the Times-Union of Tuesday morning. The undefeated Yellow jackets are
bidding for their second straight conference championship.

Lake City, unbeaten but tied by Sanford, went outside the conference, and trimmed Suwannee high of
Live Oak, 13-0. Sanford which has one win and three ties on its conference record lost 28 to 0 to Orlando
of the big ten circuit.

In an intra-conference game, Ocala and Daytona Beach battled to a 20 to 20 tie.

St. Augustine, Landon and Palatka played non-conference foes, the Mullets nosing out Wildwood, 13-12;
the Lions bowing to Andrew Jackson of the big ten, 199-0, and the Maroons trimming Bolles scencol of
Jacksonville, 38-0.

Three intra-conference games are booked this week with the Lake City-Ocala battle at Ocala topping the
program. The other family clashes pit St. Augustine against Palatka at Palatka and Landon against
Sanford at Sanford. The St. Augustine tilt may be shifted to the Ancient City.

Daytona Beach takes on Fort Pierce at Daytona Beach. DeLand's opponent this week is not known here.
