Monday the Leesburg Yellow Jackets had what many of the players called the toughest workout and
scrimmage they've had so far. After their hard loss to Melbourne the Jackets were determined to find
their mistakes.

While the varsity were trying find their mistakes the JV's were preparing for their game in Ocala tonight.
The JV's won thier last game. A 7-0 win over Weirsdale. The JV's were working hard Monday and I think
they will notch their second victory tonight in Ocala.

Allen Brown has been looking good in scrimmage and can be counted on to open some holes in the
line on offense and make some tackles on defense.

Billy Standridge has been toting the mail quite often in practice and will probably pick up a lot of yardage
against Ocala.

Buddy Lindsey has been snagging quite a few passes in scrimmage and I think he will snag a few
tonight.

The Junior High boys  have been working hard at their game with Mount Dora here in Leesburg at 4
p.m. in Thursday. The Bumble bee's lost their first game to Eustis 27-13.     1   of   2     Next
