The flashy backfield of the Yellow Jacket squad will go into tomorrow night's game against. Apopka with
a green line in front of them and we just don't know what to say yet.

In the workouts out at the High school field the line looks sparkling at times on rushing and blocking
under the drive and know how teaching of Coach Doyle Carlile and "Skinny" McDaniels. These Two
coaches have certainly driven the boys on to a fine peak of performance and the "Fern City" game
tomorrow night will tell the story of all the sweat that has been dripped on the sands of the practice field.

The backfield is coming along well, and if those backs scat and go tomorrow night.

Head coach Earl Burt, as usual ain't making any wild guesses, but he was grinning a little at the end of
yesterday's practice, so I'm going to crank up the car and go see the Apopka fracas and we'll know more
to rattle the keys about in this space on Sunday.

As far as pre-season dope goes the name of Tommy Milam, Leon Smart, Buddy LaBorde, Jimmy
Johnson, Jimmy Tichnor, Robert McLeod, Jerry Garlock, Ivan Roberts, Raymond Collins, Russell Avera,
Ferrel Young, Buddy Harris, and Eddie Parker are outstanding.

Andy Miller, Buddy Lindsey and George Parker are also showing up good in the rough-and-tumble of the
day.
