The Leesburg Yellow Jackets will not give you many scores in '72 through mistakes. The defensive
unit is well drilled by Coach Dabney  .... know what to do, how to do it  ..  and when. They have only one
tendency to date, and that is to be a little over eager to hit. I have never found this to be detrimental
when the chips are down.

Names of players who will undoubtedly be heard from in the Jacket backfield are Jeff Hancock, the
quarterback who will develop as his timing improves, Reddick Williams, who did a superb job in the
jamboree, and veterans Troy Wilson, Chuck Ward, and Marvin King.

Up, front the defensive line will be sparked by Sam Mackey, Jeffrey Johnson, Danny Dowless who will
use their experience is steady newcomers to the roster.
