The Leesburg Yellow Jackets created enough noise during the past few weeks scoring 50 or more points
in three of their four wins in finally breaking into the top ten in Class AAA this week for the first time this
season, they occupy the ninth slot.
"We wanted to stay obscure until after the first half of the year," said head Jacket Max Wettstein. "I would
say we're on schedule.
"Of course being ranked doesn't do anything for you as far as district standings, are concerned. What
really counts is where we are when the season over."
"The bigger step that we take, the more responsibility we have in living up to the confidence placed in
us," said the fourth year head coach.
"The capability is there if we can improve on our consistency.
"I'm very pleased with our ranking and can honestly say the kids deserve it since they have worked and
played so hard in achieving what we set out to accomplish before the first game," said Wettstein.
