Leesburg will entertain Big Sun Conference and district opponent North Marion Friday night. The Jackets
have scored 178 points, which is an average of 44.5 points per outing. The defense has given up two
touchdowns.
Wildwood's football team has finally reached the top in the Florida Class AA Prep Poll. The trip wasn't an
easy one for coach Bill Ragle's squad since it was necessary for the Wildcats to dispose of first ranked
lake Butler Union County Friday night 6-5 The Cat's were occupying the third position before the
encounter.
"We came up here to win," said an excited Ragle in post-game comments. "They have a fine team and to
win by any margin is simply wonderful for us"
Wildwood's defense has been awesome all season as it was last year.
"Our defense has been very consistent even though our offense has sputtered some, commented Ragle.
