Bailey: Freshmen Starter For Lees-McRae

Banner Elk, N.C. - Alvin Bailey, a native of Leesburg, now wears the green and gold of the Lees-McRae
College Bobcats. Bailey, a freshman and is a starter at defensive back. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Bailey.

Bailey graduated from Leesburg High School In June and was a Jacket standout for coach Max
Wettstein.

The Bobcats are one of the outstanding junior college football teams in the country and have been
ranked in the top 20 junior colleges for the past several years. The school is noted for producing junior
colleges for the past several years. The school is noted for producing junior college All-Americans and
outstanding senior college prospects.

Lees-McRae plays in the Coastal Junior College Conference.
