The Broncos look to add some much-needed depth at the
position.

Akilian Butler of Mesquite, Texas, and Bryan Jefferson of Leesburg, Fla., are two of the key players in the
Boise State football team's 2015 recruiting class that will be announced Wednesday.

Not because of who they are and the talent they'll bring, but because of where they play.

Butler and Jefferson are wide receivers - a position that has vexed the Broncos in recruiting since the
historic 2007 class brought the record-setting tandem of Austin Pettis and Titus Young to campus.

"I bring quickness to that position," said Butler, who chose Boise State last summer over Clemson and
Colorado, "and a little bit of swagger."

The latter trait could define this class - starting from the top, with the active Twitter banter from the
coaches. The Broncos are expected to announce roughly 23 players in this class, including three who
already are on campus, three whose commitments have been kept quiet to protect their National
Signing Day announcements and a returning missionary from the 2013 class.

"All the coaches told me this could be the best class to come through Boise ever," cornerback Ladarryl
Blair of Dallas said. "It just may be, doing my research on other classes that have come through. A very
national group, too."

The class is built from the outside in, the opposite of the usual team-building. The reason: The Broncos
return 33 of their 34 linemen from the team that won the Mountain West and Fiesta Bowl
championships in 2014.

Their needs are on the edges, at wide receiver and defensive back.
